About Me

INTRODUCTION

Hello! Welcome to my site!  My name is Christine Gennarelli and I am fitness professional and entreprenuer who has had the pleasure of helping others transform their life through fitness, nutrition, motivation and coaching.  Throughout the years I've had several roles and moments which have been exciting, rewarding and life changing for myself and those who I have worked with.  


A Little More Background about MY PERSONAL JOURNEY


For the better part of my life, I struggled with my weight, feelings of hopelessness, self-esteem and depression.  For years food was my best friend.  It comforted me at night, consoled me when I was down and was non judgmental.  Battling my weight as a child was extremely difficult; the teasing and bullying created more of a complex, more emotional issues and more overeating.  As the years went on late night binges became part of the norm.  I hated what I was doing to myself, my body, my well being - but I couldn't stop. 


Topping the scale at 340+ pounds, it became increasingly difficult to walk, get out of bed, shower, drive...along with all the other daily activities.  With no connection to the outside world or a network of social support, feelings of hoplessness and despair set in and I HIT ROCKBOTTOM.  I wanted to give up.  


Not only was I eating the wrong foods at the wrong times, I was smoking and hardly moving.  My unhealthy lifestyle led to SEVERE CHEST PAINS, shortness of breath and GALLBLADDER DISEASE.  I was a WRECK!  I NEEDED HELP AND I NEEDED IT FAST!  I knew I had to take charge and with so much life to give, a ton of ENERGY and enthusiasm waiting to be unleashed, I was not living up to my full potential.   The BOTTOM LINE... I was unhappy with the person I had become.  


At the age of 36 I finally had my "Aha" moment! I decided to TAKE ACTION and joined a group fitness program. I had no idea what to expect but I didn't care. Was I SCARED? YES!  I was petrified.  Was I in PAIN? YES, but it didn’t matter.  My world opened up and I experienced the greatest thing ever - working out on a daily basis with people who motivated and inspired me to push and reach for my goals.  I LOVED EVERY MINUTE of it!  My inner athlete was coming out and it felt AMAZING!  Working out daily became my norm and so did making healthy choices in the kitchen.  I DID NOT STARVE myself ... I ate 3 meals a day, a snack or two and drank a lot of water.  With this new healthy lifestyle and outlook on life I was becoming a new person.


With this new life, came a new purpose; to begin my career in the industry as an instructor.  With a deep desire to help others with their own personal transformations I was thrilled.   As I continue on my own personal and professional journey, as an entrepreneur, my core values are to continue helping, MOTIVATING and EMPOWERING others to be the best versions of themselves.  


7+ years later I have been able to SUSTAIN a WEIGHT LOSS of around 200 POUNDS.  The key to one's success is to keep going and FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!  Pain and fear are part of the growth process.

I was always smiling on the outside, but deep 

in so much pain - physically, mentally and emotionally.


This is one of the very few photographs that exist of me as a

morbidly obese person.  I cringed whenever asked to take

one and usually RAN AWAY or HID behind babies, big objects - basically anything that I could find.  Most of the 

time I was the photographer.

ONE YEAR, 165 POUNDS DOWN!!!  Most successful transformation stories will tell you they could not have accomplished their goals without help.  I could not agree more.  I believe that someone or something moves you

to take ACTION!  Great instructors / trainers are an instrumental part of the transformation process and have greatly impacted the person I am today.


My core principles and strong mission are to approach life with purpose, passion and energy.  BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, surround yourself with others who support your efforts and 

ALWAYS KEEP GOING!  NEVER GIVE UP!
